whg has been analysing its procurement activities over the last two years. As we engaged in more and more tender activities, we recognised that there were many challenges that businesses had to face and often it excluded them from competing for work. This had the scope to affect their survival through the present economic climate.

As a direct result of feedback from suppliers and Colleagues, whg adopted this procurement tool. Based on the significant success of the “Find it in Sandwell” portal, the new “Find it in Walsall” site will extend this success to the Walsall area and whg. We will encourage all Colleagues and suppliers alike to promote goods and services on this portal in a bid to redirect the economic activity and all the benefits associated with it towards the local community.
