Centro and the seven Metropolitan Local Authorities are developing a
new West Midlands Freight Strategy covering the Metropolitan Area. They
are developing the Freight Strategy in 3 stages:
- Vision & key Issues consultation
- Freight Strategy
- Implementation Plan
Vision & Key Issues Consultation
The Freight Strategy "Vision & Key Issues" stakeholder
consultation is first stage in the development of the Freight Strategy
which is attached to this report. This document outlines a vision for
freight across the Metropolitan Area as well as seeking stakeholder
views on a number of Key Issues which will be used to inform and steer
the Freight Strategy.
The consultation will run until 31st January 2012
