If so please get in touch. My name is James Dent and it is my job is to promote STEM careers to the young people of Walsall. STEM stands for Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths.
As I’m sure you are well aware, there is a huge skills gap across the UK
in this sector. This means STEM specialists are retiring and there is no-one
coming up through the ranks to replace them!

To get the UK economy kick-started, and once again become a major player on the global stage, we need
more young people to be aware of these fascinating and rewarding careers.

I stage events in schools across Walsall where the young people can try multiple ‘hands-on’ activities,
whether it’s mixing up chemicals or metal-bending, measuring heart-rates or spot-welding a circuit board.
